We got a quick look at the ultrabook last June and was curious about the S Quad core processor that turned out to be an AMD A6-1450 1.0GHz quad-core processor (Turbo Frequency 1.4GHz) after tweaking around the Device Manager in Windows.

The ATIV Book 9 Lite is probably the first locally-available laptop using SSD to be priced at under Php30k.

  1. Very nice! I will keep these in mind.

  2. interesting. is there a 256 GB version?

  3. Terrible screen res, processor im sure does not compare to haswell and only 4g of ram. THis is just simply not good enough

  4. The processor is AMD A6 and even underclocked, probably the reason why just says “Quad-Core Processor” even on their unpacked event.

Anyways its good that its using SSD but Core i3 haswell will kick the butt of this notebook for sure in terms of overall performance.

Sorry AMD you’re too late again and again

  5. Price and specs are not bad for some internet surfing & office work.

  6. Meh, my dual-core android tab beats this piece of sh!t quad-core laptop anytime of the day because my tab can play hd games at smooth framerate while this POS barely runs SD games at smooth framerates.

    Hahahaha fvcking pc users losers!

Android is the only os you’ll need if your a real professional!

  9. When will the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus hit PH stores? What is its final PHP price? So excited to buy one, either Intel Core i5/i7 Haswell processor + higher SSD capacity.

Never underestimate the power of AMD processor. AMD APU consumes less energy than Intel given that the majority of the time the processors are in low-active state + AMD has more muscle in GPU compared to Intel. I love them both (AMD & Intel). I love Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite (White), looks better than black.

  10. Hi! Can this laptop smoothly run Autocad and Google Sketchup?
