Seagate’s new and slimmer Backup Plus Slim is now available locally and is being offered in 1TB and 2TB storage capacities.
Just like its older and thicker predecessor, the new Backup Plus Slim comes with a few nifty software add-ons that make it easier for users to backup and store their files on this portable hard drive. The drive features one-click backup solution to backup photos straight from the users Facebook or Flickr accounts.
But not only can users backup their PC or MAC using the Backup Plus Slim, they can also backup the files on their mobile device (Android or IOS) through a downloadable app called Seagate Mobile Backup.

The new Seagate Backup Plus Slim is now available in the Philippines with the 1TB variant currently being retailed for Php4,090USD 70INR 5,908EUR 66CNY 508 while the 2TB model costs Php7,290USD 124INR 10,531EUR 118CNY 905.

I hope they also sell ruggedized external HDD, available right now is transcend and a kit from WD, never seen one from seagate..
