Seagate’s new and slimmer Backup Plus Slim is now available locally and is being offered in 1TB and 2TB storage capacities.
Just like its older and thicker predecessor, the new Backup Plus Slim comes with a few nifty software add-ons that make it easier for users to backup and store their files on this portable hard drive. The drive features one-click backup solution to backup photos straight from the users Facebook or Flickr accounts.
But not only can users backup their PC or MAC using the Backup Plus Slim, they can also backup the files on their mobile device (Android or IOS) through a downloadable app called Seagate Mobile Backup.

Capacities: 1TB and 2TB
USB 3.0 support, backwards compatible with USB2.0

The new Seagate Backup Plus Slim is now available in the Philippines with the 1TB variant currently being retailed for Php4,090 while the 2TB model costs Php7,290.

I hope they also sell ruggedized external HDD, available right now is transcend and a kit from WD, never seen one from seagate..
And the price listed. Quite expensive for 2TB.

Two weeks ago bumili ako Php3,450 1TB na ganitong version.
This is stupid. I was able to buy one last December 2013 and a another one this past February.
I still prefer the rechargeable, no wires version.
