Just finished a meeting with a rep from Canon Philippines when the Canon 5D Mark III was mentioned for embargo. I asked if I could get the press release but it turns out details are already out.

Canon 5D Mark III specs:
22.3MP full-size CMOS sensor
DIGIC 5+ processor
up to 6fps shooting speed
61-point autofocusing system
ISO 100 to 25,600 (expandable to 102,400)
1080p video recording
3.2″ LCD display @ 1MP

The camera will use a dual CompactFlash and SD Card slots.

The Canon 5D Mark III is set to be released by end of March for $3,499 and a 24-105mm f4 L kit for $4,299.

It would be nice to see prices on web sites. Pricing should be “out the door” prices (including Vat) and any other costs. There is no way to shop for lowest prices on computers and software now. Thank you for your time and attention to this request.

I got confused big time by the term “embargo.”

I guess because it is more of a political — rather than commercial — term which normally denotes “prohibition.”

I maybe wrong this time though.

obviously this is for professional photographers and rich kids.
mura lang yan pag ang hanapbuhay mo e photographer lalo na kung charge mo average of 25-50,000 or higher per photoshoot sa mga events e.g, weddings etc
