Macro photography offers a glimpse into the unseen world that some of us don’t even know exist. Unfortunately, it often requires pricey equipment in order to get super close to the subject we want to photograph.

That’s why Instructable member Yoshinok came up with an inexpensive DIY contraption that allows users to take pictures with up to 175x magnification using only with their smartphone – thus making it a cheap alternative for costly microscopes.
