Instagram Now Allows You To Post Portrait/Landscape Photos

Instagram is undeniably the most popular photo-sharing service in the market. However, it only supported square photos which, in some cases, is a bit limiting and forces some users to resort to other means to get the whole scene in their post.

Today though, the Facebook-owned social networking site has announced that it will no longer confine its users to just square snaps, and instead allow them to take/share landscape and portrait pictures on their account.

The new feature is part of the updated Instagram app version 7.5 which is now available for download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Furthermore, the new orientation options work for both photos and videos.
