HUAWEI Mate X6 Spotted on Shopee Philippines

Listen to article

HUAWEI’s latest flagship foldable, the Mate X6, has been listed on Shopee Philippines with a price tag of PHP 200,000. While the listing hints at the device’s arrival in the local market, Huawei has yet to officially announce its final price and availability in the country.

The Mate X6 boasts a 6.45-inch cover display and a 7.93-inch main OLED display, both featuring FHD+ resolution. On the photography front, it’s equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 40MP telephoto shooter, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens, alongside Huawei’s Ultra Chroma Camera technology for richer color reproduction.

Under the hood, the foldable packs a 5,110mAh battery with support for 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

It runs EMUI 15, though Huawei has kept the exact chipset details under wraps, teasing only a 12-core CPU and an 840 MHz GPU.

Previously reported to launch globally with a price of EUR 1,999 (~PHP 122,000), the Shopee listing suggests a significantly higher price locally. However, this could be a placeholder, as the official pricing for the Philippine market is yet to be confirmed.

The HUAWEI Mate X6’s final details are expected to be announced in the coming days, with global deliveries starting January 6, 2025. Stay tuned for updates on the device’s official local price and availability on January 17 PHT.
