That’s how the top 3 search engines place me for the “https://www.yugatech.com/blog/?p=570“>v7ndotcom elursrebmem” seo contest I am joining.
On MSN, my blog ranked #6 out of 34,928 results; with Google, it ranked #16 (depending on the DC) of about 3,150,000 results; while Yahoo! placed my blog at #26 of about 4,520,000 search results. (That means I need more PR4 and higher links.) :D
Yeah, we all know that not all search engines are equal. They have different formulas to compute one’s placement.
When I compared that against my ranking on “Smart Wifi” and I got similar SE order in the results. I ranked #1+2 in MSN, 3+4 in Google and #5 in Yahoo.
Does that mean my blog is more MSN-friendly than Google and Yahoo? I would say so. Is this trend similar on all toher keywords and in other blogs or websites? Don’t know. What I notice though is that MSN seems to be giving more points for newer content (on the same domain/site) as exemplified in the results here.
But MSN is crap and nobody is using it.
