Weird PageRank Updates

Around early morning today, just before I hit the sack, I noticed that a lot of sites have had their Google PageRank updated already (both the internal and the Toolbar PR).

I checked all the ones that I’ve gotten in the last 2 months and half of them had good results while the other ones weren’t as lucky. An old PR6 and two PR5 domains dropped to PR0, while a 7 week old and another 8 week old domain got a PR5 and PR6 respectively.

What’s weirder is that an internal page got PR8 even though the domain is just PR5. Check this out:

Isulong SEOPH

Here’s the PR8 page on a PR5 domain. Big difference.

Yet, my much older blogs (PUB & PTraB) aren’t showing any changes.

Someone mentioned that the computation is ongoing and it will eventually level down after a few more days. Anybody else experiencing the same with their sites?
