Tweaks ’round and about.

Been doing some blog tweaks here and there whole week…

Page Views – I was finally able to make the Top10 plugin to work with the rest of the other plugins. Entries now have pageview count.
Image Dates – I did a simple hack into the WP codes to modify the date functions so that I get image dates. Pretty cool. 8)
iPap Photo Gallery – though still in beta version (v0.9), I got too excited and upgraded my photo gallery. It’s a bit of a mess in there now.
Excerpt function – to maximize pageviews, I switched excerpts instead of the full content on the main page. It also allowed me to cramp in more entries.

Pre, I think there’s something wrong with your iPAP install. The $a variable is not passed correctly. I’m clueless, the only reason I see is… di ko alam. Hehehe. Please try uploading the files again, baka luma yung index.php mo. ;)

That was my hinala rin yesterday. I tried switching mod_rewrite on and off pero ayaw din.

Cge, will take your advise. In any case, another fresh install should do it.

nice idea.. i should put excerpts too rather than the whole post. not too maximize the number of posts displayed, or even the use of the page views cause i dont have page views. :) But too increase page hits for the ads. :D will it work master???

Yes, technically, the more pageviews, the more click-throughs you’d get. I am still experimenting on thsi kind of format. I will see in a month. My primary objective here was actually getting just more pageviews but I don’t know if it could positively affect the ad clicks though.

i am learning many things from you. im not going to imitate you. i just wanna try if i can do the same thing as you do. i am tryin to learn more by looking at others work. and try to recreate and innovate if i can. but im not looking to going ahead of someone. what i have learned were all from the experts. i know how to program, but i work so slow when it comes to thinking of my own approach. ;)
