Touring Bird: Google’s new app for travelers

Google has launched a new app designed for travelers called Touring Bird that can help you explore, compare, and book tours, tickets, and activities from multiple providers in top destinations around the world — all in a single place.

Touring Bird is a product of Google’s Area 120 incubator which is a workshop for Google’s experimental products. It’s currently a browser-based app where you can see everything in one place like the destination city, tours and activities, local tips, and bookings.

What makes this stand out is its customizability, allowing you to set the date of your travel and budget so you can get recommendations based on your preferences.

According to Touring Bird, they collaborate with most major travel partners and collect curated tips fom locals and travel experts to bring highly relevant and interesting content.

Touring Bird is available worldwide in both desktop and mobile versions, and currently supports 20 cities. (Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Miami, New Delhi, New York, Orlando, Paris, Prague, Rome, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, D.C.).
