Pokémon GO makers create ties with Globe Telecom

Despite the decline, a lot of trainers still play Pokémon GO and to entice more to join, Niantic and The Pokémon Company partners with a local telco.

In the coming days, you can expect a lot of players flocking to Globe stores as the telco and the makers of Pokémon GO tie up. This means Globe stores will become one of the many PokeStops and Gyms within the game. In line with that, they’ll also provide charging stations to keep you juiced up.

Globe will kick off the Pokémon GO partnership tomorrow, October 28th during the first Philippine Pokémon Festival. Head over to Globe Iconic Store tomorrow at 6PM to be part of the official Pokémon GO event.
