You can now broadcast from your GoPro Hero 4 to Periscope

Twitter-owned live-streaming service, Periscope, has announced an integration with action cam maker, GoPro, allowing users with Hero 4 action cams to broadcast their foootage directly to the social app.

The feature currrently works on GoPro Hero 4 action cams and the Periscope app for iOS. All you need to do is connect your iPhone to your GoPro’s WiFi while it’s on video mode, open your Periscope app, tap on the broadcast button, just add a title and you can now go live.

“GoPro enables people to capture and share their experiences in the most immersive way possible, and the integration with Periscope provides GoPro users with a great, real-time platform to share their content.” said Tony Bates, President of GoPro.

To try the new service, just update your Periscope app and give it a go with your GoPro.
