Positioned as a camera-focused premium device, the X300 Ultra brings major upgrades in both photography and video. At the center is a new 200MP Sony LYT-901 main sensor with a near 1-inch size and a 35mm focal length, designed to deliver more natural, professional-looking shots. It is paired with a 200MP 85mm telephoto camera using Samsung’s latest sensor, offering faster autofocus and improved stabilization through a gimbal-grade OIS system. The ultrawide camera retains a large sensor as well, maintaining a high-end triple-camera setup built for versatility. The X300 Ultra supports 4K 120fps 10-bit log recording across all three cameras, along with LUT import for more advanced color grading. To complement the camera system, vivo introduced optional accessories like a 400mm teleconverter and imaging grip kit, targeting users who want a more DSLR-like shooting experience on a smartphone. Beyond cameras, the X300 Ultra features a 6.82-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Sony Semiconductor has officially announced the LYTIA-901, its first 200MP smartphone camera sensor, signaling a direct challenge to Samsung’s dominance in ultra-high-resolution mobile cameras.
