Listen to article

vivo has officially launched the vivo X300 Ultra in China, confirming that its latest flagship will also be released globally.

Positioned as a camera-focused premium device, the X300 Ultra brings major upgrades in both photography and video. At the center is a new 200MP Sony LYT-901 main sensor with a near 1-inch size and a 35mm focal length, designed to deliver more natural, professional-looking shots.

It is paired with a 200MP 85mm telephoto camera using Samsung’s latest sensor, offering faster autofocus and improved stabilization through a gimbal-grade OIS system. The ultrawide camera retains a large sensor as well, maintaining a high-end triple-camera setup built for versatility.

vivo is also pushing mobile videography further. The X300 Ultra supports 4K 120fps 10-bit log recording across all three cameras, along with LUT import for more advanced color grading. A new “True Color” sensor with multiple spectral channels is also included to improve color accuracy and tone.

To complement the camera system, vivo introduced optional accessories like a 400mm teleconverter and imaging grip kit, targeting users who want a more DSLR-like shooting experience on a smartphone.

Beyond cameras, the X300 Ultra features a 6.82-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, alongside a large 6600mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging.

The device starts at CNY 6,999 in China. Global availability has been confirmed, but pricing in the Philippines has not yet been announced.
