vivo showcased its upcoming flagship phone, the X300 Ultra, at Mobile World Congress (MWC). The device was not officially launched, but the company confirmed that the X300 Ultra will be released outside China. If it pushes through, this will be the first vivo Ultra phone to launch globally. vivo has not yet shared the list of countries or pricing details.

During the showcase, vivo did not reveal the full design or complete specifications of the phone. Instead, it focused on its new camera accessories. The company introduced the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen2 Ultra, which offers a 400mm equivalent focal range. That is twice the range of last year’s extender. With this setup, users can get up to 17x optical zoom.
vivo said the total zoom range can reach up to 800mm using in-sensor zoom cropping. The company also claimed the camera kit can support full 200MP optical output and maintain clear image quality even at a 1600mm digital crop.
Aside from the teleconverter, vivo also showed a Camera Cage accessory. This turns the phone into a portable video rig. It includes mounts for a flash, cooling fan, and tripod. It also has physical shutter buttons and quick-release ports.
While vivo did not confirm camera specs, rumors suggest a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope lens, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a multispectral sensor. More details are expected soon.
