SmartSens has introduced a new flagship-grade smartphone camera sensor, aiming to push mobile photography and videography further with improved dynamic range, low-light performance, and high-frame-rate video. Its HDR system uses multi-frame fusion within a single exposure, helping reduce motion artifacts and improve clarity, especially in video recording. On the video side, the SC5A6XS supports 4K recording at up to 120fps, along with 4K at 60fps with HDR enabled, making it suitable for advanced mobile video use. SmartSens also highlighted improved efficiency, with around 11% lower power consumption in HDR mode, which may help reduce heat during extended video recording sessions. It controls both the action cams to start/stop recording, video playback, deletion of files. Built-in GPS and Action Cam Movie Creator - Both action cams have built-in GPS that lets users utilize the provided Action Cam Movie Creator software and produce custom videos with GPS Data Overlay. It's also important to note that Sony will be releasing a new mobile application that offers customers a simple approach to pro-level video editing. Now, the OnePlus One smartphone has been confirmed of a Sony Exmor sensor that shoots 4K videos.
