Acer recently wrapped up its first-ever Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025, a two-day gathering of education and tech leaders across the region, held in Bangkok. Altos, Acer’s AI and server tech arm, revealed two platforms designed for the next wave of education and research: Altos BrainSphere R680 F7A high-performance server supporting up to eight NVIDIA RTX 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, perfect for AI-driven and graphics-intensive workloads. Acer Academy has collaborated with De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) in the aim of supporting Deaf education in the Philippines through the application of technology in adaptive education. The collaboration is channeled through De La Salle’s School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS), which offers education to Deaf Filipino students. Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines, explained that this is in line with Acer's strong belief in education and inclusion, and that currently, Acer Academy has over 400 members across the Philippines.
