In most respects, the Aspire 1551 is the dual-core version of the Aspire 721 with an AMD Athlon Neo II K325 running at 1.3GHz (slightly lower than the 721's 1.7GHz, single core, but with the same TDP of just 12 watts). Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995. The Acer Aspire One was introduced during the Computex at Taipei, Taiwan yesterday. Acer is once again the leader of the PC market in the Philippines for 2021. Acer Philippines sold 561,000 units in 2021 from 394,000 in 2020 and 347,000 in 2019. The Aspire One D150 is Acer's second generation netbook, powered by the newer Atom N280 of Intel.
