Acer has introduced the first-ever Chromebook, the Chromebook 315, powered by an AMD A-series of processors at CES 2019. The Chromebook 315 comes with a 15.6-inch FHD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, AMD A6-9220C / A4-9120C chipset, AMD Radeon R5/R2 graphics, Google Chrome OS, 8GB RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage. Acer has officially unveiled the Chromebook Plus Spin 514, its first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, offering built-in Google AI features, impressive battery life, and a rugged convertible design—all headlined for creators, students, and professionals who need performance and portability. Acer is offering a free 12-month Google AI Pro plan with this Chromebook, providing expanded Gemini, Flow, and NotebookLM access plus 2TB of cloud storage on Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. Along with the Acer Chromebook Tab 311, the company has also launched three new laptops in the Acer Chromebook line. The Acer Chromebook 511 goes for USD 429.99 (~PHP 25,121.09) while the Spin 511 starts with a price tag of USD 499.99 (~PHP 29,210.67).
