Acer has officially unveiled the Chromebook Plus Spin 514, its first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, offering built-in Google AI features, impressive battery life, and a rugged convertible design—all headlined for creators, students, and professionals who need performance and portability. Acer boasts up to **17 hours of battery life** on the WUXGA panel, making this a reliable pick for mobile users. Acer is offering a free 12-month Google AI Pro plan with this Chromebook, providing expanded Gemini, Flow, and NotebookLM access plus 2TB of cloud storage on Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. Alongside the Spin 514, Acer also rolled out the Chromebox CXI6 and Chromebox Mini CXM2, compact ChromeOS desktops designed for workstations, classrooms, and commercial kiosks. Business users get Chrome Enterprise Upgrade out of the box on the Spin 514 Enterprise model, Chromebox CXI6, and Chromebox Mini CXM2 Enterprise, unlocking fleet management, advanced security, and simplified device controls. The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990.
