Acer has unveiled its latest and first mid-range Android smartphone that is powered by a single-core Intel Atom processor - the Liquid C1. The Acer Liquid C1 packs a 4.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 which equates to 256ppi. Like its sibling, the Liquid E1, it has a 5 megapixel camera, VGA front-facing, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with microSD support, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1. The Acer Liquid C1 has a price tag of $335 or almost Php14,000 and will be available in black and white. The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore.
