Acer has just unveiled at Computex in Taiwan its latest Android smartphone that sports a 5.7-inch HD display with dual-SIM capabilities, the Liquid S1. The Liquid S1 is Acer's first "phablet" device. The Liquid S1 will come in black and white colors, and will start shipping in Q3 2013 in Europe and Russia for 349 Euros or almost Php20,000. The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995.
