Acer has announced the pricing and availability of its Windows 8-powered All-In-One PCs, namely the Aspire 5600U and Aspire 7600U. The Acer Aspire 5600U has a 23-inch multi-touch display (1080p), powered by an Intel Core i5 3110M processor, integrated HD graphics, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 1TB of hard drive space. Meanwhile, the Acer Aspire 7600U sports a bigger 27-inch multi-touch display (1080p). The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995.
