At WWDC 2026, the company confirmed it partnered with Google, using the technologies behind Gemini, to create the next generation of Apple Foundation Models. These models to run on-device and on Apple's Private Cloud Compute servers, meaning the processing happens either on your device or on servers that Apple says do not store or share your data. Announced by Mark Zuckerberg, Spark is part of a new “Muse” family of AI models and is now powering an updated version of Meta AI, accessible through Meta’s platform. Despite heavy investment reportedly reaching tens of billions of dollars, Meta has faced pressure to prove its competitiveness in the AI space, where its earlier models have trailed behind rivals. More models under the Muse lineup, including open-source releases, are expected to follow. Group has recently announced that 2022 future Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis lineup models will be powered with NVIDIA DRIVE in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI). Future models with the NVIDIA DRIVE platform bring in enhanced in-vehicle AI user experience to its users, featuring audio, video, navigation, connectivity, and AI-enhanced connected car services. NVIDIA will enable Hyundai Motor Group to roll out its new connected car operating system (ccOS) across future models.
