In the Philippines, wearable AI has already begun to take hold. While Apple has yet to confirm Philippine availability, history suggests its wearables roll out globally within weeks of a U.S. If the N50 delivers on reports—combining true “wearable AI” with the hallmark Apple finish—it may redefine what we expect from next-generation eyewear. A new AI wearable device has been announced in CES 2025 called Omi. Unlike traditional mechanical switches that rely on physical contact points to register key presses, Hall Effect switches use magnetic sensing technology. Part of that responsiveness likely comes from the keyboard's low-latency design, high polling rate, and magnetic switch technology. The new release builds on last year's sold-out Charmera 1987 Edition, introducing six new color variants inspired by early-2000s technology and pop culture. The Millennium Edition continues Kodak's strategy of tapping into growing demand for retro technology and Y2K-inspired products, a trend that has seen renewed interest in compact digital cameras, film photography, and vintage gadgets.
