Last February, Alcatel revealed the world's first Android Go phone, the 1X. Now, The company has released its newest sibling with lower specifications, the Alcatel 1. The Alcatel 1 sports a 5-inch display with 480 x 940px resolution, a MediaTek MT6739 1.28GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card, a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front, and 2,000mAh battery. Today, we’re looking at budget and entry-level phones priced under 10,000 pesos that were launched during Q2 of 2026. DISCLAIMER: The smartphones featured in this list reflect their suggested retail prices (SRP) at launch. The itel A200 is priced at PHP 5,999 for the 3GB+128GB variant. The REDMI 15C 5G has a retail price of PHP 8,499 for the lone 4GB+256GB config. Alcatel's the latest one we've seen that embraced the Android OS and it looks like it's doing something good for them.
