We recently discovered that the new Smart Bro LTE Pocket WiFi that is being offered to subscribers lately is the one from Alcatel. It looks like the Alcatel One Touch Link Y800 replaces the usual Huawei LTE pocket WiFi offered before. The Alcatel Y800 uses a regular LTE SIM, supports a quad-band LTE network and is capable of sharing internet connectivity with up to 10 devices. However, if you are open to trying out a new interface, I'm sure you'll enjoy the intuitive touch screen of the iPhone. In iPod mode, the iPhone makes it a little hard to navigate between songs as controls are done via touchscreen. Without the iPhone, we would not have seen the likes of Samsung Instinct, Omnia i900, HTC Touch Diamond, LG Dare and Sony-Ericsson Xperia this early. I had 4 most likely candidates as a great iPhone alternative -- the HTC Touch Diamond, Nokia N96, Samsung i900 Omnia and the Sony-Ericsson Xperia. My choices were mostly based on large-screen, touchscreen smartphones -- one major area where the iPhone claims supremacy.
