At Computex 2019 currently being held in Taiwan, Alienware has just announced the refreshed versions of the Alienware m15 and m17. Alienware has just upgraded its flagship 17-inch gaming laptops, the Alienware m17 R5 and the Alienware x17 R2, by outfitting both with the industry's first 480Hz refresh rate display. The Alienware m17 R5 will also come with a new AMD Advantage model. To outfit both laptops with the new 480Hz display, you'll be looking at a starting price of USD 2,299.99 for the Alienware m17 R5 and USD 2,549.99 for the Alienware x17 R2. Dell has officially announced their latest light and thin gaming laptops, the Alienware m15 and m17, powered by an NVIDIA RTX series graphics. The company's 17-inch gaming laptop called the Alienware m17 features a 17.3-inch display, 8th-Gen Intel Core i9 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics. Dell showed us their complete line-up of laptops powered by next-gen Intel Sandy Bridge chipsets last week-end and of the lot, I specifically liked the design of the Alienware M17x and the Dell Vostro V130. The Alienware brand was bought by Dell many years ago and the M17x represents the ultimate portable laptop in gaming (apparently there's a bigger M18x).
