It looks like science fiction, but the delivery of goods via drone is now possible thanks to the new Prime Air drone delivery of Amazon. The first area to experience the Prime Air deliveries in Lockeford, California. They’ve chosen Lockeford because of its ‘historic links’ to the aviation industry.’ Once the customers of Amazon in Lockeforr are fully onboarded, they’ll be able to see Prime Air-eligible items on the website. Amazon unveiled at the re:MARS Conference (Machine Learning, Automation, Robotics and Space) in Las Vegas, it's new Prime Air Drone design for faster package delivery.   Amazon Prime Air is a service that will deliver packages of up to 5 pounds in 30 minutes or less using small drones. The newest drone design is capable of vertical takeoffs and can transition between two modes – from vertical-mode to airplane mode, and back to vertical mode.
