Interestingly, the final job cuts aren’t likely to be finalized until mid-to-late April, and the company will not inform workers up until that point. Amazon isn’t the only big company announcing layoffs though. Last week, Meta announced that they will be laying off an additional 10,000 workers on top of the previously announced job cuts. Amazon Operation Services is set to hire more than 500 remote workers in the Philippines. Amazon is on the lookout for full-time customer service professionals who can run night shifts.
