AMD has just announced the second-generation Ryzen processors which take aim to improve processing performance of its predecessors and offer a smoother experience to its users. Unlike the generation it replaces, all variants of the Ryzen 5 offer six cores and twelve threads, while the Ryzen 7 touts an octa-core design and sixteen threads, all with major upgrades and advanced AMD SenseMI technology. The entire line will also include an AMD Wraith cooler inside the retail box, with the Ryzen 7 series getting LED versions for better aesthetic. AMD has announced the new Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, a high-end desktop processor with dual 3D V-Cache, offering up to 208MB of total cache. AMD said the processor is unlocked for overclocking and uses second-generation 3D V-Cache, which helps manage heat while keeping performance stable.
