Renders of Sony’s follow up to its best selling noise canceling headphones have just surfaced online and will reportedly be called the Sony WH-1000XM5. Shared by online blog TechnikNews, the renders give us a look at a refreshed design for the headphones. It reportedly features the same set of inputs and buttons, featuring a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C Port, plus buttons for the ANC on and off. According to rumors, the earphones will come with up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC turned on. Other features include IP55 water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint pairing, smart wear detection and customizable controls via the Shokz app. The headphones feature 40mm dynamic drivers with support for 20Hz to 40,000Hz frequency response. The Headphone (a) has adaptive active noise cancellation of up to 40dB noise reduction along with a Transparency mode. The headset includes four microphones with a 2-mic hybrid ANC setup on each side.
