Sony WH-1000XM5 renders leak

Renders of Sony’s follow up to its best selling noise canceling headphones have just surfaced online and will reportedly be called the Sony WH-1000XM5.

Shared by online blog TechnikNews, the renders give us a look at a refreshed design for the headphones. Sony hasn’t changed the design of the lineup since the Sony WH-1000XM2 and this new look features a cleaner and minimalist design compared to previous models. It reportedly features the same set of inputs and buttons, featuring a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C Port, plus buttons for the ANC on and off.

According to rumors, the earphones will come with up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC turned on. The headset will also charge in 3.5 hours and come in at least two colors, black or silver.
