A new Android-powered Nokia smartphone is expected to launch at MWC 2017 sometime next week but a popular e-commerce hub has it listed online already. The Nokia 8 is listed for pre-sale on JD.com but the listing is from a third party and not official. The Nokia 8 is expected to be a flagship handset from HMD Global, the new Nokia brand owner. Back in latter part of 2013, a leaked press shot of an alleged Nokia handset running on Android has surfaced courtesy of @evleaks. This supposedly low-end Android smartphone was recently spotted in AnTuTu benchmark, giving us an early glimpse of some of its inner workings. It also tells us that the Nokia A110 sports a 5MP rear camera and is running on a yet-to-released version of Android (4.4.1). As expected, Nokia remains mum about these recent leaks and there’s a pretty good chance that they’ll remain that way until they’re ready to unveil the A110, if there’s indeed such handset. The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention.
