Following the announcement of Google's newest operating system, Android 9 Pie, the company introduces its corresponding Go Edition with improved features.   Google introduced the Android Go Edition last year with Android 8.0 Oreo as its base. Android Pie Go Edition will come with improvements that entry-level devices can benefit from. Here are the major changes in the update: Up to an additional 500MB of storage available out of the box (as compared with the Android 8 Oreo Go Edition). Android Messages - app for Android (Go edition) is now ~50 percent smaller in size. The Android 9 Pie Go Edition is set to hit the market this Fall 2018. According to Evan Blass, a well-known leakster, this year’s first developer preview for Android P is targeting a mid-March release. Android P Developer Preview 1 is targeting a mid-month release.
