The first-person shooter battle royale, Apex Legends, is coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch. Announced during EA's Play Live 2020 event, Apex Legends will now be available on Origin, Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this fall. Game modes like Armed and Dangerous (snipers and shotguns only) are also returning to the game, with twists like the Evo Armor and Mobile Respawn Beacons. During the launch, players will be able to download Apex Legends Mobile on Android and iOS in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia. Apex Legends Mobile won't feature cross-play with console or PC versions of Apex Legends, and sideloading through a third-party site or direct APK download is not recommended. Apex Legends Mobile is now available for regional beta testing to players in the Philippines and India. As per EA, they will be steadily rolling out Apex Legends Mobile worldwide, but for now, it is only available for closed beta tests in the Philippines and India. Apex Legends Mobile will be free to play like its console and PC versions.
