I guess we won’t be seeing Apple and HTC hurling patent lawsuits to each other any time soon as each party agrees to settle all their patent disputes. This means that HTC and Apple can shift their focus on innovation (which both companies badly need) rather than slugging it out in the courtroom. Apple has just unveiled the Apple TV+, the company's original video subscription service. It has also unveiled the Apple TV app, giving customers access to about 150 channels and streaming services. Apple TV+ will feature TV shows, documentaries, and movies from artists such as Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Octavia Spencer, J.J. The subscription promises on-demand and ad-free access to its content through the new Apple TV app. Launching in May 2019, the Apple TV app will be available on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, smart TVs, and streaming devices. Apple has stated that the Apple TV app will cover shows and movies from about 150 channels and streaming services.
