#Apple M5 Pro

Apple has introduced two new chips, M5 Pro and M5 Max, designed to power the latest MacBook Pro models and handle heavy professional workloads such as video editing, 3D rendering, and AI processing. The chips were announced as part of Apple’s latest update to its Apple silicon lineup. This design brings together the CPU, GPU, memory controller, Neural Engine, Media Engine, and Thunderbolt 5 support in one package to improve performance and efficiency. The M5 Pro and M5 Max feature an 18-core CPU, made up of six super cores and 12 performance cores. Apple said this design can improve performance by up to 30 percent for professional workloads compared with the previous generation. The M5 Pro can support up to a 20-core GPU, while the M5 Max can support up to a 40-core GPU. Apple said the design increases GPU compute power for AI tasks by more than four times compared with the previous generation. M5 Pro can support up to 64GB of memory, while M5 Max supports up to 128GB, allowing professionals to work with large datasets, complex graphics, and AI models.
