ARM has just announced three chipsets: the small Cortex-A520, medium Cortex-A720, and the Cortex-X4 - the big chip. ARM's Cortex-X4 plans to tackle 15% higher performance than their X3 as they have dubbed this as their fastest CPU core with clock speeds of 3.4GHz. Additionally, ARM revealed the G720, a second-generation Immortalis GPU designed for high-end devices. These three GPUs are called the "5th Gen". The next CPU and GPU from ARM are anticipated to debut later this year and in the first quarter of 2024. ARM is looking to shake up the stage of mobile performance as they unveil their latest CPU and GPU creation, the Cortex-A76 and Mali-G76. ARM is stating a 35% increase in performance, 40% increase in power efficiency and, and 4x the ML (machine learning). The new CPU is actually also aimed at mobile PCs as ARM is promising laptop-class performance and mobile power efficiency.
