In this month's episode of #AskYugaTech, we gathered up a couple of the most interesting questions we received and answered them! The SM Store and PLDT Inc.’s PayMaya Philippines has announced a partnership that would allow customers to purchase goods using the PayMaya mobile application's QR code scanning platform. With PayMaya QR, customers of the establishment can now just simply open their PayMaya, scan a QR code, and pay for their purchase. More and more Filipinos are using cashless payments with PayMaya, and we’re excited to work with like-minded companies such as SM in innovating on the retail shopping experience with the help of our payment technologies. With companies like SM taking the lead, we’ll see PayMaya QR in a lot more stores and establishments all around the country. PayMaya, a mobile money and digital financial service company, has now extended their services in Facebook Messenger. Users can now link their PayMaya account to their FB messenger application and use services such as paying bills, sending money to Facebook friends, and purchasing mobile load.
