Asus announced today a new member of the PadFone family, the Asus PadFone S. The PadFone S is a 5-inch Kitkat device that sits inside an 8.9-inch full HD tablet. The design is already familiar with the PadFone line, only this time the tablet form is smaller at just 8.9 inches. Asus also announced the PadFone E back in January which has almost the same specs as the PadFone S. Update: It turns out the documents given to us earlier had a typo in it and the actual specs of the PadFone S included a Snapdragon 801 chip instead of the Snapdragon 400. Asus Philippines will finally launch the newer edition of its Eee PC series this week. After last month's launching at Computex in Taiwan, Asus is bringing here the 10-inch Eee PC 1000. From the Asus website, looks like they'd be coming out with 6 shiny colors of the Asus Eee PC -- Red, Green, Black, Peony White, Pearl White and Fine Ebony.
