If you think the implementation of the Asus Taichi is too outrageous to be practical, the Asus Transformer Book might be up in your alley. At first, the Transformer book just looks like the original Asus Zenbook running Windows 8. But then you will notice that at the back, the hinge where the base of the LCD panel is placed has that cradle similar to the ones found on the Asus Transformer. Now that's where the Transformer Book got its name -- slide the lock and pop out the screen to use the LCD panel as a full-fledged Windows 8 tablet.
