ASUS made a head-turning announcement when they launched its newest Zenbook Pro ultrabooks, the ZenBook Pro 14 and 15, at Computex 2018. The ZenBook Pro 15 has a 15.6-inch 4k touchscreen or Full HD IPS non-touch display, either an Intel Core i9-8950HK or a Core i7-8750HQ CPU, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to a 1TB PCIe x4 SSD. The ASUS Zenbook lineup has been around for more than a decade, and it’s no doubt a household name for Windows laptops. Design and Construction The first thing I noticed about the 2026 ASUS Zenbook S16 is the design of the lid. Display and Multimedia Let's move on to the part of the laptop we look at the most, and probably our favorite feature of the laptop. The 16-inch screen is probably one of our favorite features of the Zenbook S16 since it uses ASUS’s Lumina OLED panel that sports a 3K resolution (2880 x1800) along with a 120Hz refresh rate. Performance and Benchmarks Our specific unit of the 2026 ASUS Zenbook S16 packs an AMD Ryzen 9 465 AI processor with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. While the Zenbook is made for productivity, we also tested how it would handle running games.
