ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced this year's Back-to-School Promo, discounting several previous-generation gaming laptops and bundling select models with ASUS gaming monitors. Starting today, 8th-Generation Intel-based ROG Zephyrus S and Strix Scar laptops will be discounted by up to PHP 25,000 off. These promos are available in ASUS and ROG accredited stores, nationwide. The top model in the lineup is the ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651AX, described by ASUS as the world’s first 16-inch dual-screen gaming laptop. The ROG Zephyrus G16 GU606 is the more traditional performance model in the series. ASUS says it has a 1.49cm-thin aluminum chassis, weighs 1.85kg, and uses Slash Lighting on the lid. ASUS says the cooling system includes Tri-Fan Technology, Liquid Metal, and improved airflow from a 50% increase in ventilation area. The ROG Zephyrus G14 GU405 is the smallest model in the lineup, built for portable performance.
