Monster Cable and Beats Electronics have come a long way since their first headphone “Studio†was released back in 2008. But in-spite of their success, Monster and Beats Electronics decided not to renew their 5 year contract and part ways later this year because of financial reasons. But what is certain is that Monster will still have their own product line as they have even before their partnership with Beats Electronics. As for Beats, I don’t think that it will be the end of them. Beats Audio, makers of premium headphones (premium prices too), might soon be a part of your iPhone, iPod, and iPad. Rumor has it that Apple is considering to buy Beats Electronics, makers of the popular Beats Audio products, for $3.2 billion. Beats was recently valued at more than $1 billion, and even with Apple's large cash pile of around $159 billion, this will pose as the company's biggest acquisition yet if it pushes through. This is not the first time that Beats Audio was incorporated with mobile devices.
