Nothing is opening the Beta of Essential Apps, a new way to create apps built around the user. The Beta is currently available on Phone (3) devices with access expanding gradually through a waitlist. (EA) unveils the beta testing of its next-generation PC gaming platform, the EA Desktop App. The EA Desktop App beta includes new features and overall improvements to power a faster, smarter, more connected desktop app for its players. The registration for the beta is open to all EA Origin players. Google is taking another step toward bringing vertical tabs to Chrome, with the long-requested feature now appearing in the browser’s Beta channel. Vertical tabs are currently hidden behind a flag in Chrome Beta version 145. Some Beta users have spotted a new “Tab strip position” option under Settings > Appearance, offering a more straightforward toggle for moving tabs to the side without relying on flags.
