Bethesda celebrates 10 years of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with a new Anniversary Edition, set to roll out on November 11. According to Bethesda, the release will include 500 unique pieces of Creation Club content that have extra quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells, and more. Bethesda will also hold a live concert on their official YouTube and Twitch channel on November 11 at 2PM EST. Microsoft has officially completed ZeniMax Media's acquisition, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, for USD 7.5 billion. The acquisition gives the Microsoft Xbox ownership of Zenimax Media’s eight development studios, including the Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studios. With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players," said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. Moreover, Bethesda will run as a separate business at Microsoft, with its existing leadership. However, Bethesda Marketing Chief Pete Hines reveals that there won’t be any big changes for now.
