Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has recently launched its own e-wallet app namely Vybe that is currently available only to clients with BPI Online credentials. BPI says that Vybe is a "one-stop lifestyle app that makes your everyday digital banking more rewarding." With Vybe, users can send and receive money from other Vybe users, scan to pay with its partner merchants, and of course, fund transfers with BPI account for free. It also has a rewards system that users can earn and redeem points from using various BPI products and services. Users may claim 1,000 points upon sign-up as a welcome gift according to Frederick Faustino, VP and head of digital partnerships and ecosystems at BPI. The good news is banks like BPI allow you to load your e-wallet straight from your mobile app. For BPI, it has actually tapped the following partners for their e-wallets: Autosweep RFID, Easytrip, GCash, PayMaya, and Smart Padala. So, here’s how you load your e-wallet through BPI: Step 1: Log in to the new BPI Mobile app and select "Payments/Load" > "Load e-wallet" tab.
