Along with the announcement of the new EOS M, Canon Philippines also unveiled their new mid-range DSLR, the EOS 6D. The Canon EOS 6D, being in the upper mid-range tier, sits in between the 60D and 7D. This one boasts a 20MP CMOS Sensor which is powered by Canon’s latest image processor, the DIGIC 5+. Canon EOS 6D specs: 20MP CMOS sensor 36 x 24 mm Full-frame size DIGIC 5+ image processor ISO 100-25,600 (Low 50 and High 51,200/102400) 30 – 1/4000 sec. This might sound a bit odd but the successor to the 7D might be this Canon 6D which features a 20-megapixel full frame sensor. Though there's no no final details on the specs of the Canon 6D, the biggest update to that line-up would be the full frame sensor which is now similar to the one on the 5D Mark 2/3 series. The Canon 6D will also feature a built-in GPS, WiFi, Digic 5+ processor, 4.5fps, ISO range of 100-25600 (expandable to 50-102400) and full HD 1080p recording.
