#Carrier Smart Cool Plug

Fortunately, our friends from Carrier Philippines has a solution in the form of the Carrier Smart+Cool System. To test this solution, Carrier Philippines sent us a Smart+Cool System (Carrier Window Room Aircon + Smart+Cool Plug + Smart+Cool App) which contains a window-type inverter air conditioner and a Carrier Smart+Cool plug. The Carrier Smart+Cool plug is basically a wall socket adapter for your aircon unit but with smart features. Before plugging your aircon, attach the power plug to the Smart+Cool plug and insert it into a power socket. Do note that the air con won't switch on right away as it needs to be configured by the app first, so download the Smart Cool app in the Google PlayStore or the Apple Store. Once you're done with your account, you can now start pairing your phone with the Smart+Cool plug. This is to make sure that no one else can access your Smart+Cool plug. From here you can also connect the Smart+Cool plug to your home WiFi, allowing you to control it even when you're outside of your home.
